Lo Sound Desert – Blog
Great news! We will cooperate with filmmaker Joerg Steineck and his so called project ‘Lo Sound Desert – A passage on rockmusic‘. He is researching and shooting over five years now. The film features the origins of the so called Desert Rock Scene including bands like Kyuss, Fatso Jetson, Across The River and many more.
The film shows everything what we love about Desert Rock also referred to as Stoner Rock: Rare interviews, footage from the original generator partys and altogether a great and exclusive view on the scenes past and progress.
All the important and relevant artists contributed to this extraordinary film. A must-see for any fan of heavy and true rock music!
Joerg Steineck is basically on his way back to the California desert right now to shot some last concerts and scenes. The plan is to keep all of us up to date and feature some kind of road blog by Mr. Steineck.
The film is scheduled for early 2012. Hopefully we can accompany the last steps to it’s finishing together and in it’s end celebrate the release of a great documentary done by a fan for fans.
